Real Madrid's own names

The striker is the top scorer in all competitions with twenty-five goals, followed by another of Los Blancos' big names, Vinícius Jr, with seventeen. Rodrygo has scored thirteen, and Jude Bellingham, who will miss the match due to suspension, is another of the strong arguments coming from the second line, and accumulates eleven more goals. In addition, this season they have also lifted the European Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.

The precedents

Up to three wins and a draw have been achieved by Girona in the eleven clashes against Real Madrid. The red-and-whites, who opened with a win at Montilivi in 2017 and repeated in 2023, also won at the Bernabéu in 2019 and managed a draw in the penultimate visit. Last season, despite playing an exceptional course, the Whites won with solvency, although visiting the Madrid stadium has always been synonymous with goals on both sides: Girona have scored eight, four of which from Stuani, and conceded sixteen.
