Juanpe, until 2024
The Canary Islands centre-back will add another season to the seven he has already accumulated as a Red and Whites' player.
Juanpe Ramírez will continue to wear the Girona FC shirt for another season. The Club and the Canary Islands centre-back have agreed to extend his contract until June 2024, with a further optional year.
The defender, who has just turned 32, will extend his commitment as a 'rojiblanco' and will add another season to the seven he has already accumulated since arriving at Girona in the summer of 2016. Juanpe has played 222 games for Girona FC and has played a key role in both promotions to the Primera Division. He is currently Girona's fourth most-capped player in professional football, behind Migue (249), Borja Garcia (233) and Àlex Granell (233). In minutes played, he ranks second with nearly 19,000.
With the last goal scored in the match against Sevilla at the Ramon Sánchez Pizjuán, Juanpe has scored 12 times.
