The goalkeeper, protagonist in the promotion to Primera Division, will spend his fifth season at Montilivi
Juan Carlos Martin will continue for another season at Montilivi after a new contract extension, which will now end in June 2024. With this renewal, the 35-year-old goalkeeper from Guadalajara will experience his fifth season in Girona.
Since his arrival at the Club in the summer of 2019 Juan Carlos has become a key player for Girona FC. He was one of the protagonists of the promotion to Primera División, a historic milestone for the club, demonstrating his commitment and experience over the years. Juan Carlos has played 121 games for Girona.
Trained in the Rayo Vallecano youth teams, the goalkeeper from La Mancha has played for several teams such as Hércules, Córdoba, Elche and Lugo, where he came from when he arrived in Girona.
