"It's been ten years I could never have imagined".

Quique Cárcel praises the stability of the Club, says it is growing and is excited about the construction of the CFA

GIRONA FC

"It's been ten years since I arrived here and that after all this time people are still betting on me is very nice. It has been a path that I could never have imagined. Football is complicated and I am lucky to be at a club where there is a lot of stability. I want to acknowledge my work team (Ivan Hammouch, Juan Carlos Moreno and Santi Pou) and the people at the grassroots".

"I've had some bad times. At the end of the day, results count and I've received criticism, but I've felt very valued and supported. This is fundamental".

"It has been a complicated market. We knew that it would be difficult to keep Taty and Riquelme and we also wanted to have players on our books. The case of Oriol has been the most stressful, it was a complicated moment. Yangel has taken a step forward and Aleix is also at a good level. We had to look for a similar profile but seeing how the team is, we decided to make a bet on the future. We thought that Santi Bueno would not leave, but the offer was good, it was the right time to do it. That's why we brought in Eric. Callens had little chance of playing with him and that's why we were looking for a way out".

"We are in one of the best leagues. We have to be humble, keep our feet on the ground and still be ambitious".

"Michel's continuation was fundamental. We may find that at some point he leaves. But I think it is fundamental for the growth of the club. Together I think we can do great things".

"If they told me what happened 10 years ago, I wouldn't believe it. I am ambitious, but very humble. We have giants ahead of us. We want Girona to be a stable club and to move forward with the sports city and improvements to the stadium. It won't be easy, but we can go up".

"We know that Solis is not Oriol Romeu, but we believe in the team and its growth. He is a player of the future who will improve with Míchel.

"I have the feeling that what I said 10 years ago is a reality. It's my best moment because I have a great working group and I'm playing a style of play that I love.

"Stuani is a key player in the club's history. I wanted him to continue and that's how it has been. He has three more years on his contract and I am convinced that he will continue but he has every right to decide his future. As in Girona, I only have words of thanks for him".

"Grassroots football needs the Ciudad Deportiva and that's why we are working on it. I hope we can start the move at the end of the year."

"Signings are made without logic. Oriol Romeu comes here and it was impossible. He manages to come here and he is paid very little. The only thing he asks is that if he has a good year and has the option to go to a big team he should be allowed to do so. We were on the verge of closing it, we wanted him for sure".

"The cap means growth. We have sold players, the club works very well in the marketing and commercial department. I think there is room for improvement, we are not going to spend more than we don't have. We are investing a lot.

"We want to develop players for the first team. The growth of the players is what we are looking for, there are already success stories like Dubasin. We believe the steps are good for them, but not all of them fit."
