Girona FC approves a 60 million budget for this season
Shareholders' Meeting expects revenues to increase 5 percent
The General Shareholders' Meeting of Girona Fútbol Club, SAD today approved the budget for the current 2023/2024 season, which is close to 60 million euros (€59.6m), three more than in the previous campaign. This increase is due to the increase in revenues from television rights, which will total 42.7 million euros, and those expected from tickets, season tickets and corporate hospitality, which grew by 10 percent, now standing at 6.4 million euros.
Expenses will also register an increase, especially due to the increase in the costs of the personnel structure, mainly associated with the cost of the first team, and a greater investment in grassroots soccer, among others. In total, 63 million euros of expenses have been approved, which will be balanced, apart from the income, by the profits generated by the sale of players.
The Board also approved the annual accounts for the 2022-2023 season. A campaign that Girona FC closed with a profit of 700,000 euros.
Finally, it has been agreed the entry of Ingo Bank as director, replacing Diego Gigliani, who has been thanked for his work and collaboration during the time he has held the position.
The minority shareholders of the Club will soon be called to the informational meeting of the Annual Accounts.
