Girona and PUMA present the home kit for the 2024-2025 season
The shirt replaces the classic vertical stripes with a design that shares the crest of the city and also the Club, as a tribute to Girona and the fans.
Girona FC and PUMA officially present the home kit for the 2024/2025 season. The new kit aims to highlight the union between the Club, the city and the fans, in a vibrant tribute to Girona's rich history symbolised by their respective coats of arms.
The first (or main) shirt features an innovative design full of history and symbolism. With the red and white colours, which are the essence of the Club, the traditional vertical stripes are replaced by the so-called vair or vaire, a repeating pattern commonly used in medieval heraldry. This vair of waves that can be seen on the team's and the city's coats of arms, being a variation that can evoke the ripples of water, has been popularly related - although it has no historical validity - to the waters of the city and, by extension, the rivers that flow through it.
On the back of the collar, which is once again round, is the Senyera, and on the front, the new main sponsor, Etihad Airways. The sleeves are in striking plain red with a white trim. The uniform is completed with the shorts that abandon the current blue for a return to red, contrasting with the socks that will be white although with red details.
This new kit is intended to be a symbol of the Club's identity and of the pride shared with the city and its supporters.
The home kit for the 2024/2025 season is now available in the online shop https://botiga.gironafc.cat/, in the official Girona FC shops (Rambla and Montilivi) as well as in all PUMA shops, sports shops and puma.com from today onwards.
