Dovbyk, top scorer of First Division

The Ukrainian striker scored 24 goals and also became Girona's top scorer in a season in the Primera División.

Artem Dovbyk is the new Primera Division top scorer! In his first season at Montilivi, the Ukrainian striker has broken records, scoring 24 goals in 36 games to surpass all other national scorers. A hat-trick in the win over Granada in the final game of the season saw him beat Sorloth in a tightly contested contest until the final whistle. The Villarreal striker has scored one less, and behind him have been such outstanding names as Bellingham (19), Lewandowski (18) and Griezmann (16).

Dovbyk's goals

Dovbyk made his debut in the red and white jersey in the opening match at the Reale Arena against Real Sociedad (1-1). Since then, he has not stopped scoring goals that have translated into points and helped the team to achieve the historic qualification for the Champions League. To be precise, one every 108 minutes. The Ukrainian has found the net in seventeen different games, including the two victories against Barça, and has scored three braces and two hat-tricks. His best run has been five consecutive matches scoring, and he has also become a specialist from eleven yards (7). In total, seventeen have been scored with his left foot, one with his right and six with his head. Dovbyk's habitat has clearly been the penalty area (23), and he has also scored more in Montilivi (15).

Record man in Girona

The striker has been the top scorer in LaLiga, but he has also broken Girona's statistics. He has become the highest scorer in the Club's history in a season in the Primera División, surpassing the 21 scored by Cristhian Stuani in the 2018/18 season.
